Case Studies
SAP in the Energy Industry
KW consultants were engaged by a major energy company to manage the 'internal divestiture' of part of their SAP estate. Whilst this was required to meet the demands of the client's funders, requirements were unclear and there had been a false start on the solution.
We quickly took hold of the project and led the client through a requirements definition process which put the client firmly in the driving seat and enabled them to implement the most advantageous and cost effective solution for their business. We then saw the project through SI and test partner selection, design, build and test using standard SAP methodology through to a successful go-live that was achieved without disrupting the client's business. Alongside that stakeholders were effectively managed to ensure alignment with the overall solution and that the client's funders would accept the solution.
Conducted in a highly secure environment, the project went live on
time and £130,000 under budget.

Transition and Stabilization After an SAP Go-Live
Getting a multinational SAP programme technically live is only part of the story. To ensure it's smooth adoption requires a lot of planning up front.
When a major agri-chemical company decided to go 'big bang' for it's latest SAP rollout across 9 countries, one of KW's resources planned and lead the team responsible for landing this approach. This involved the delivery of significant KT from the SI to the BAU support company, provision of floorwalkers across all countries, defect triage management, training of staff, embedding change management practices and the final successful close out of Hypercare and transition to BAU working.
